How to cook chicken in a crock pot?

I tried to use this recipe today with my friend. it not read the recipe instructions and all messed up. The recipe called for slow cooking a chicken breast for 5 hours with margarine and dressing mix Italian and then adding the cream of chicken soup and cream cheese for half an hour. then also add cooked egg noodles at the end. to Chicken Stroganoff. Well, I was in another room taking care of other things first, and she began to add breasts 2 cans chicken soup not 1, and adding chicken and milk and broth packet Italian dressing mix i “What do I do? chicken breast was supposed to be cooking for 5 hours before adding the cream of chicken soup. Is it still ok to cook? Should I throw it? I hope I can still do something with this ..

Stop cooking. Remove the chicken (not cut into cubes, hopefully) wipe, and cook in the oven – remember the 5 hours slow cooking at this stage of the soup. Put a lid on. When the chicken is cooked, add it in the pan, turn it on and let it return temperature and a duration of 20 minutes. The problem is the milk, the milk and cream soup than 5 hours to go way. And I guarantee you milk products will not only break, but curdle. That you could avoid breaking the dairy, or at least minimize the damage something that still looks edible.

Have you ever used any of the chicken substitutes in a crock pot recipe? If yes, how did you adjust the cooking times to make it work well? I’m sure i need to adjust the cook time, but don’t want to blow the whole recipe by adding the chick’n strips too early or too late. I was thinking of using the morningstar strips because they worked well in enchiladas. I’m going to use tofutti ‘better than sour cream’ as a sub for the sour cream. YUM!!

Any advice is welcome! Thank you!

I throw corn pieces in the slowcooker during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

Is it okay to mix taste the vegetable stock and chicken broth in a soup base with chicken?

I make chicken soup in a casserole. It consists of carrots, onions, celery, mushrooms, potatoes, and chicken wings which were gilded and halved. I put in a pile of chicken broth and it tastes a little watery. I tried to search online to see if anyone has recipes that have two different types of equipment in it but I found nothing. So my question is, can I put a little vegetable stock even if I’ve used chicken broth. I do have a lot of chicken left and wants to save some for later. Thank you! Thank you for the great answers! It was very helpful. I hope my husband thinks wen even serve dinner! : D Oh my God! It tastes AMAZING! Thank you thank you thank you!

You can certainly use your broth of vegetables with your chicken broth. I do it all the time in my soup. You can also use chicken broth and broth of pork together. This makes a nice broth.

Because many people don’t know how to cook tofu, she recommended first ordering vegan meals from Chinese or Thai restaurants. Raw tofu from the grocery store is not representative of cooked tofu, she said.

“Well, you wouldn’t eat raw chicken, would you?” she said. “It’s about learning to season … like [with] anything else.”

Experimentation is key. Choose chickpea salad instead of tuna, she offered, and use vegan mayonnaise made from cashews or soy instead of eggs.

She said folks might be surprised to learn some of their favorite foods are already vegan.

Previously a restaurant chef, Robertson said she was surprised when she learned to like beets. Her opinion changed when she tried roasting them.

“[Now] I roast all vegetables,” she said. “To me that’s the best way to cook vegetables.”

Far from seeing her current meal options as stunted, she said she views the Standard American Diet as “just the same ancient stuff over and over again.”

As a vegan, “you find it like an adventure.”

“You have to like to cook,” she said. Still, “It really isn’t as hard as people reckon. Have a few favorites and take it from there.”
